FORGE SOLUTIONS

You shouldn't have to wonder if your psychologist understands the pressures men face

Put an end to the guess work. We specialize working with men.

Daniel Taylor C.C.C.

Are you a man experiencing overwhelming anger, crushing guilt, a void of joy or purpose in life, a worrying/racing mind, and much more? Or perhaps you're in a relationship that is stuck in repetitive problems that never get solved?

My path into therapy was paved through roles in community leadership, pastoral care, and non-profit work, that gave me over 20 years of experience working with men and couples feeling stuck, and helping them make their life better.

With an education in Counselling Psychology, I am passionate about integrating trauma informed and evidence-based methods like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet your unique needs.

You can expect me to be real and honest, collaborative and compassionate. My role is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space so we can cultivate insight, develop practical tools, and gain meaning and fulfillment in your life.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me lifting heavy things, speaking and doing stand up comedy, and cooking things for my family of 5.

Chelsey Stasuik - Registered Provisional Psychologist

As someone whose father and 3 brothers have embarked in first responder life, I have a special interest, passion, and aptitude for working with trauma and first responders. I recognize the unique challenges and tremendous pressure you face from the stress, trauma, and emotional weight of your work. I like working with men dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, and grief. I also really enjoy working with couples who are looking for meaningful improvements in their relationship.

My approach is practical and tailored to your needs. I draw from methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR for trauma, and the Gottman Method for couples. These evidence-based approaches allow us to build a plan that is tailored to help you break through the challenges you’re facing.

My goal is to create a straightforward, no-nonsense space where you can be real about what’s going on in your life. You can expect me to show up authentically, and I’ll encourage you to do the same. Together, we’ll work on getting you where you want to be—stronger, clearer, and more in control.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, watching the Oilers, and baking sourdough bread.

If you are ready to start feeling like yourself again, you've come to the right place. Whether you're dealing with a separation, work frustrations, low motivation, or just feeling stressed/overwhelmed, I can help you get back on track.

As men, we have unique life experiences that may not always lend well to traditional talk therapy. This is why you might need some specialized services that are a bit more tailored to your unique needs.

I have helped people overcome all sorts of challenges like anxiety, low-mood, low-motivation, anger, relationships, loss, work stress, and more. I also have a lot of experience working with teen boys dealing with these struggles. When you are ready to take control of what is holding you back, I am right here with you.

As a Canadian Certified Counsellor and over five years of counselling experience, I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and more.

I stay active through hockey, running, and weight training, and I love getting outside for hiking and camping adventures. My Labrador, Ozzy, keeps me on my toes and reminds me to find joy in the little things.

If you are fed up with allowing life's problems to get in your way, you've come to the right place. I am a registered psychologist that specializes in working with men. Whether you're dealing with work stress, relationship problems, low motivation, or whatever has got you in a funk, I can help you get back on track. You are not alone. Do you know that I work with multiple men everyday that are struggling with similar things that you are? Other guys also feel anxious, unmotivated, inadequate, unheard by others, not in control, and overwhelmed. Over my 8 years of mental health career experience, I have developed and crafted specific skills and tools that will help you overcome your problems... All sorts of challenges like depression, trauma, anger, unhealthy relationships, loss, addictions, and more.

I enjoy learning different modalities to work with, though primarily use Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), clinical hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Whatever the mode used in session, I realize the importance of a strong, trusting relationship between us. You can expect me to show up non-judgementally and focused on solutions.

Outside of the office, you might find me on the beach volley ball courts!
